Life is a theatre

Today I am in a contemplative mood - so much has happened of late that I have needed to at last digest and try to accept thirty odd years later.

This morning I can see that life is a theatre and that we can use this idea to see how we can work "within" to make the stage a brighter and more magnificent performance.

Looking at my four children each one reflecting a different side of me - my husband talking to me this morning how he feels unheard, for me to only reply - snap. Even our beautiful new puppy is displaying something within that I need to look at and heal.

All the blame of others behaviour or how we may feel mistreated, is only a reflection of a part of ourselves who believes it is acceptable to be treated in this manner - that person or persons will keep on behaving that way - holding up a mirror of what you feel is justified behaviour somewhere deep down from this life or even another - a lot can be a result of decisions you made as a child or a belief that was fed to you - to be seen and not hear is a classic.

Two weeks ago my wonderful and most treasured friend Sarah treated me to a massage for my birthday, while waiting I picked up a book and it fell open to a page, a page that held the best and only advice that we need be told -

"The only journey, is the journey within."

Remember life is a theatre - what you see in life are all the different aspects of who you believe yourself to be at this moment of time - if any of what you see, does not fit anymore, do not expect others to change - change you and the world will change for you.
